Welcome to Virtual Artists Studio.

These Terms of Use apply to your use of virtualartists.org and the public content, projects, experimental formats, and materials presented through the website.

By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If a specific project, collaboration, NFT Pass, competition, license, or other activity is governed by separate terms, those specific terms will apply to that activity in addition to these Terms.

1. About Virtual Artists Studio

Virtual Artists Studio is an independent creative and research studio exploring virtual artists, artificial intelligence, digital identity, collaborative creation, blockchain-based participation, and emerging cultural formats.

The website documents creative projects, experiments, concepts, completed works, and future directions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, material published on this website is provided for informational, artistic, cultural, and educational purposes.

2. Experimental Nature of the Studio

Some projects presented by Virtual Artists Studio explore technologies, governance models, digital identities, artificial intelligence, blockchain systems, NFTs, DAOs, and other developing technologies.

Descriptions of experimental or future functionality should not be interpreted as a guarantee that a particular feature, platform, project, economic model, governance mechanism, or technology will be launched or remain available.

Roadmaps, future concepts, and project status descriptions may evolve as the Studio’s research and creative work develops.

3. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, text, visual materials, designs, music, audiovisual works, branding, project concepts, virtual artist identities, and other original materials published on the website are owned by Virtual Artists Studio, their respective creators, licensors, or other rights holders.

Nothing on this website transfers intellectual property rights to a visitor.

You may view and share links to publicly available pages for personal and non-commercial purposes. Reproduction, modification, commercial use, redistribution, or creation of derivative works requires permission from the relevant rights holder unless such use is otherwise permitted by applicable law or by a specific license.

Third-party names, works, trademarks, platforms, and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

4. Contributions and Collaboration

Certain Studio projects may invite people, communities, creators, or organizations to contribute ideas, creative materials, feedback, votes, or other forms of participation.

The legal status of a contribution — including any license, attribution, permission, ownership, or permitted reuse — is determined by the terms of the specific project or collaboration.

Submitting or recording a contribution does not automatically create ownership in a virtual artist, project, Studio, DAO, underlying intellectual property, or future work.

Where additional permissions or agreements are required, they will be defined separately.

5. NFT Passes, Tokens, and Blockchain

Some Studio projects may use NFTs, token-based access, wallets, smart contracts, or public blockchain records.

Unless specific project terms expressly state otherwise, holding an NFT or other token:

  • does not transfer copyright or ownership of an underlying creative work;
  • does not create equity, shares, or ownership in Virtual Artists Studio;
  • does not guarantee financial value, profit, income, or future utility;
  • and does not automatically grant commercial, licensing, reproduction, or derivative-work rights.

Any access, participation, governance, creative, or licensing rights associated with a token exist only to the extent expressly described in the applicable project terms.

Blockchain transactions may be public, permanent, technically irreversible, and dependent on third-party networks and wallet infrastructure.

6. No Financial Advice

Virtual Artists Studio is a creative and experimental environment, not an investment, brokerage, financial advisory, or securities service.

Nothing published on this website constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

NFT Passes and other digital mechanisms used by Studio projects are designed primarily as tools for access, participation, coordination, provenance, or creative experimentation. Their legal treatment may vary by jurisdiction and by the design of a specific project.

7. Third-Party Services

The website may link to external websites and services, including social platforms, blockchain explorers, wallets, media platforms, messaging services, and other third-party resources.

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Virtual Artists Studio does not control and is not responsible for their availability, security, content, or independent processing practices.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not use the website to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious software, impersonate another person or entity, infringe intellectual property rights, or use Studio materials in a misleading or unlawful way.

9. Availability and Accuracy

We aim to keep the public archive and project information accurate and accessible, but creative and experimental projects may evolve.

The website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every historical, technical, or external reference will remain permanently accessible.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Virtual Artists Studio and its creators, collaborators, and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or similar losses arising solely from the use of, reliance on, or inability to access this website or third-party services linked from it.

11. Changes to Projects and These Terms

Studio projects, experimental systems, and public documentation may change over time.

We may update these Terms when the website, applicable law, or Studio activities evolve. The current version and update date will be published on this page.

Material changes affecting a specific project or participation mechanism may also be described in that project’s own documentation.
