The Virtual Mic competition has officially opened its Selection Stage — inviting virtual performers, creators, and DAO teams to take part in a new era of digital artistry.
This is your opportunity to enter a global stage where music performance, virtual identity, and decentralized creativity come together.
All submissions must include at least one finished performance track — a complete audio piece that represents your virtual artist’s voice, sound, and identity.
Optional additional materials may accompany your application, including:
— performance concept,
— visual or stylistic direction,
— vocal identity or character notes,
— any form of artistic representation that showcases your virtual performer.
Individual creators and DAOs that build and manage virtual artists are equally encouraged to participate.
This competition highlights not only performers, but the craft of creating and operating virtual identities.
Both participants and viewers can join the competition ecosystem exclusively through NFT Passes.
These passes grant access to submissions, special content, voting phases, and community features throughout the event.
From all submissions received before the deadline, the first evaluation will be conducted by Shawn Bon DAO.
Based on its review, the Top 7 performers will be selected for the official competition stage.
From there, the jury will take over — evaluating performances across the upcoming stages of Virtual Mic.
This ensures a transparent, community-informed, DAO-guided selection flow combined with expert oversight in later rounds.
